French photographer, filmmaker and multimedia artist working as a light & video creator for the theater, involved in photography projects, such as Pop. Density & Still, developing video applications, capturing movement in dance and using new technologies in his work as a director of photography for cinema. After finishing his studies in Engineering and Photography in Venezuela, Ragnar arrived in Paris to study cinematography at the ESEC (School of Superior Studies of Cinematography) where he graduated in 1999. In 2000 he worked in the US completing a series of short films and video installations. When he returned to Paris he went to the University of Paris VIII Saint Denis in the year 2001, to obtain a specialization degree DESS in audiovisual patrimony curation. Later he started working in the field of documentary films with French director Claire Simon, and at the moment works in several projects as a director of photography and sound & video artist in Mexico.
